Self-watering spout for plastic bottles, pack of 4

A gravity-driven self-watering system enables drip irrigation at a low cost.

1. Take the plastic hose and connect it to the flow control unit.

2. Take an empty plastic bottle, fill it with water (or fertilizer water) and screw the flow control unit into place. The unit will fit most bottles up to 2 litres.

3. Insert the self-watering spout with the bottle into the ground so that the bottle is upside down.

4. By turning the setting wheel, you can regulate the water flow. you will see bubbles forming inside the bottle. this means that the water flows out of the bottle. The air bubble rate shows how fast the water flows out. The greater the speed, the faster the water comes out.
